How To Join

Thank you for your interest in the Washington Mediation Association. Two methods are offered for submitting your membership application and fee:

1) Use the Online Membership Application to apply and pay your annual dues online.  (If your dues are $75, you can pay them by following the link to the online Membership Application.  If they are any amount other than $75, you can pay them via Paypal by pressing the “donate” button on this page.)

2) Print and fill out the downloadable Membership Application Form, include your annual dues payment and mail to:

WMA offers memberships for individuals, organizations, government entities and students. Annual dues are:

New Members and Renewing Members $75.00

Students $25.00
(Must be enrolled full time in a degree or certificate program)

Non-Profit and Government Organizational Membership $125.00

For-Profit Organizational Membership $225.00

Standards of Practice

Before submitting your application for membership, please read the WMA Standards of Practice for Mediators. These are the same standards approved by SPIDR, AAA, and the ABA in 1994. As a condition of membership, WMA requires written acceptance of the Association’s purposes and these Standards.
